Comparación de máquinas DPF: ¿Qué ofrece Europa y qué ofrece Polonia?

The European market for diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning machines is very active today. Buyers expect repeatable results, predictable cycle times, and transparent reports that can be attached to the order. Below is a factual look at the entire niche industry.

Where do the machines come from?

Poland is currently the most dynamic production region in this industry. Otomatic, XTON, Motsler, and Marwis are among the companies operating on the market. The common denominator is attention to process control and recording, as well as real after-sales support.

Turkey is the second largest market. You will find a wide selection of models and attractive prices from manufacturers such as Çınar Makina (DPFMAC), KSP Makine, Eskon Makina, and Clean Max Power. However, their users are increasingly reporting poorer quality compared to Polish machines y very limited after-sales service. In practice, when a problem arises, the workshop is often left to fend for itself. If you are considering such a purchase, it is essential to make solid service arrangements before signing the contract.

En Europa, OXYHTECH (Spain) y Carbon Clean (United Kingdom) are also worth considering. They operate on the domestic market, have distributor networks and partner programs, which facilitates purchasing and training.

Common, traditional method of cleaning DPF filters

Most machines are based on two approaches:
Wet cleaning (also known as hydrodynamic cleaning) — controlled flow and pressure accompanied by compressed air pulses.
The dominant method on the European market.
Dry cleaning — burning off soot in an induction furnace or pneumatic cleaning, which breaks up deposits and frees up flow.
A popular method in the USA.

How it works in Poland

Polish manufacturers of DPF filter cleaning machines design comprehensive systems that cover the entire cleaning process – from filter preparation, through washing, to drying. They use advanced technologies, such as hydrodynamic cleaning with air cavitation in turbulent motion, which effectively remove soot and ash, restoring up to 99% of the filter throughput. The machines are equipped with modern software that allows for monitoring of operating parameters, generation of reports, and integration with diagnostic systems. In addition, manufacturers offer technical support, training, and access to spare parts, ensuring long-term reliability of the equipment.

What to look for when choosing DPF machines from Turkey

Marketing and frequent messages from Turkish sellers are already well known in European workshops. Turks are very friendly and eager to praise their machines, but the reality after the sale is often completely different. The biggest problems concern the cleaning fluid filtration system and the accuracy of back pressure measurement before and after cleaning – key parameters for effective DPF filter regeneration. In addition, the quality and functionality of adapters for connection to DPF filters is sometimes insufficient. More and more often, users report that after delivery, they have to rely mainly on their own resources and experience. Before purchasing, it is therefore worth thoroughly testing several units on your own filters and making sure that spare parts are actually available off the shelf, and not just listed in the offer.

Spain and the United Kingdom: familiar names, familiar technology

OXYHTECH y CarbonClean offer DPF filter cleaning systems based on wet technology, with results reporting and a complete set of accessories. Although their advantage is their local presence y fast purchase and training path, the solutions themselves are not particularly innovative – they use traditional cleaning methods, which in some markets may already be outdated and do not fully meet the modern requirements of workshops.

Tradition at a high price – Italian and Swiss DPF machines

DPF machines manufactured in Italy – Flash Cleaner – and FFSolution, offered by the Swiss company of the same name, were already present at the beginning of the development of the DPF filter cleaning industry. They played a key role in shaping early technological standards, but unfortunately did not develop further technologically. Currently, they offer traditional solutions at a very high market price, while modern machines available in Poland provide more advanced cleaning methods at significantly lower prices.

What really sets Otomatic apart

Otomatic stands out on the European market thanks to its integrated 2-in-1 hybrid process, DPF-Hybrid™. The cleaning process consists of three stages:

  1. Filter preparation – preliminary cleaning and preparation of ceramics using air pulses (turbo pulses),
  2. Hydrodynamic cleaning – thorough removal of contaminants using a cleaning fluid under controlled conditions,
  3. Thermal cleaning – final drying using hot air pulses, which stabilizes the filter and completes the entire process, ensuring repeatability of the effect.

The latest DPF Platino AI machine features an AI-assisted control option (SmartClean™) that automatically selects and adjusts cleaning parameters during the cycle. This ensures consistent results regardless of the operator and reduces the time needed to learn how to use the machine.

Otomatic stands out from the competition, which still relies on traditional methods. Most manufacturers in Poland, Turkey, Spain, and the UK offer only “wet” systems with drying and reporting—the differences between them are minimal. The combination of wet and dry cleaning in one streamlined process, along with AI automation in DPF Platinum AI, remains rare and is a practical advantage for Otomatic.

Poland or other countries — real differences

On the European market, many machines, especially those from Turkey, Spain, and the United Kingdom, mainly offer standard wet cleaning systems with results reporting. The process still depends largely on the operator, and there are only minor differences between manufacturers.

Polish machines stand out primarily for their quality of workmanship and attention to detail. Some models also offer a more integrated process, combining wet and dry cleaning with optional automation features that increase the repeatability of results and reduce operator time. Even without additional automation features, Polish solutions introduce subtle innovations and increase the reliability of the filter regeneration process.
